Interested in exposing your students to cinema produced outside of the Hollywood system? EIFF U is a series of films – feature-length dramas, documentaries and shorts – presented Monday thru Friday as part of the Edmonton International Film Festival. This year marks our 6th presentation of EIFF U... a thought-provoking, relevant series of films specifically aimed at junior and senior high school students. You might also be a group of retirees, or a book club, or ladies who lunch... these films, programmed during the day, might be just the interesting outing you're looking to share with each other.

Film is powerful. It offers up new perspectives on the world. Opens windows to cultures, lives, ideas we may know little about. Understanding makes us better citizens.

EIFF is a non-profit, charitable organization. We issue annual tax-deductible receipts for all charitable donations each December. Your contributions help EIFF with the rising costs of film rent, artist fees, theatre and technical expenses, office expenses -- everything that goes into making this festival warm your heart.
